Igniting An East-West Globalizing Dialogue

Creative Will

Beethoven exemplified it, Nietzsche wrote about it, all artists act on it. It is the creative will. It demands nothing less than integrity towards excellence. When the individual brings it to fruition, he becomes so ennobled.

Empowered by it, it establishes our personal benchmark(s). Ultimately, it becomes our legacy. It surpasses us and by so doing, mediates our transcendence over the human condition.

There is perhaps no greater fulfillment than potentiality fully realized at its most brilliant. There is a qualitative distinction here not only in the realization, but also in the caliber of the acting individual’s achievement. If you are striving after a goal, give it all you got. The triumph is that much sweeter.

There are actions.

And there are actions of excellence.

And then there are actions of utmost tenacity towards the pinnacle of all our successes.

Under which category will you perform?

May you always enjoy a successful brilliance to all your endeavors!

Ten Articulations

In the communicative sphere of action, the process of articulation is to make precise, distinct, and clear to others. IPT would add that articulation is critically essential to creative realization. In order to materialize the imagination, the imagined must first be articulated.

In this spirit, IPT sets forth the following ten articulations as a starting point from which to achieve your own creative realization:

1) Articulate to materialize the imagination. Just as your imagination is unlimited, so too is your effective potentiality to achieve.

2) Articulate to find your resonance. In the frequency and decibel of your achievements, resonance between your soul and your spirit harmonize in complementary unison with the universe’s creativity.

3) Articulate to ennoble effective empowerment and individual agency towards universal greatness. Individual greatness inspires others to the same. Universal greatness transcends the human condition.

4) Articulate to inspire others. When you realize your highest potentiality, you inspire others to the same. The first step is to articulate the positive, clearing a path for all its manifestations.

5) Articulate to impact others with meaningfully positive effect. With a mindset towards articulation, stop to observe the world around you. You will be better able to identify areas where you can contribute with meaningfully positive resonance and effect.

6) Articulate to realize your creative potentiality. When you clearly communicate your ideas, their materiality manifests distinct.

7) Articulate to realize your ultimate freedom. With your creative potentiality materialized, you automatically and immediately attain ultimate freedom.

8) Articulate to enter the realm of other. Once ultimate freedom is obtained, you occupy the realm of other qua liberation of and from the self.

9) Articulate to maintain ultimate freedom. Once achieved, ultimate freedom is most effectively maintained through a 360-degree self-awareness. Liberation in its truest form is sustained only with a comprehensively thorough understanding of self qua freedom and freedom qua self.

 More succinctly:

To achieve ultimate freedom, IPT offers the path of creative potentiality.

To sustain ultimate freedom, the individual must attain a CEV globally beginning with his specific internalized locus. The self is the seed from which his CEV concentrically flourishes outwards to the global arena.

At this global arena – where potentiality exists at the highest order of other – the individual’s distinctly effective articulation resonates at its most potent. This is the resonance of innovation, invention, and revolution. More importantly, it is the resonance of new world orders.

 10) Articulate to your transcendence. Once ultimate freedom is sustained, the individual is truly and effectively transcendent. Above all limitations, s/he is liberating freedom.

And this freedom is truly sublime…

In Search of Sapere Aude

Immanuel Kant defined the Enlightenment as a period when people lived by sapere aude and likewise, dared to think autonomously. There is something of the Enlightenment that is very much lacking today. Ironically, for all modernity’s technological achievements and innovative advancements indicating a vibrant spirit of sapere aude, wisdom itself is very nearly ‘MIA’.

Indeed, the acceleration towards invention is inversely proportional to the practice and exercise of reason. In particular, it is reason tempered by wisdom that is increasingly rare, barely showing signs of life. It is this particularly qualified reason (rather than Enlightenment reason) that should be fiercely safeguarded and monitored, as an endangered species.

Why?

Volatility.

In an age of rapid globalization and transformation – all mediated by e-technologies – there is a corresponding rapidity to get through our daily quotidian, as if in a dogged ‘rat race’. Unfortunately, this race forces the individuals involved to jettison fundamental communicative and social proprieties. Everyday human interactions delegated by reason become tainted by haste, rather than pristinely glowing in the light of reason.

The erstwhile sacrosanct interactions of our basic humanity were a breeding ground for man’s greatest achievements. Stimulating dialogue through the respectful (and often, collective) exchange of ideas fostered creativity’s prolific materialization of the unlimited imagination. Without the dialogue, without the ideas, and without the basic human communicative interaction, creativity is not able to grow.

Stifled, it chokes.

Without relief of release, it recedes back into potentiality.

The wasteland of untapped potentiality is growing far too vast. In its wake, it leaves barren nothingness. While it is true the ex nihilo, omnia fit, there must be a glimmer of freedom and release from the twin-stranglehold of rapidity and haste.

And so, IPT challenges you to sapere aude, no matter how long it takes and no matter where it may lead you…

IPT Around Us: The Humility Path

Have you ever experienced a genuinely profound sense of gratitude? Regardless if it is for a person, place, thing, event, or (special) occasion, gratitude places you directly in the position of humility. Especially today, humility is increasingly rare. Indeed, as man is empowered by technological advances, he is exponentially moved away from humility.

In my previous post “Alternate Routes” on 21 July 2014, I discuss the different avenues towards ultimate freedom. Understanding that realizing creative potentiality is not the exclusive route, I mention humility, among others:

There are a myriad ways to attain ultimate freedom.  Infinite Potentiality Theory (IPT) argues for the route of realized creative potentiality, especially as it mediates a lasting achievement.  However, there are other ways.  So far, I have mentioned the following:

1) Recognition of excellence in others (from my post “Recognition” of 15 July 2014),

2) The combination of talent and humility (from my post “Talent and Humility” of 20 July 2014), and

3) Laughter (from my post “Laughter” of 20 July 2014).

The point of all this is to ground your understanding of being in the other qua ultimate freedom as a very real and omnipresent occurrence.  The manner in which we arrive is a choice.  The point is, we have arrived and continue to do so repeatedly.

Therefore, IPT is not just a philosophy wafting in the conceptual sphere as a nebulous or esoteric ideology.  On the contrary, it is a critically necessary reflection of the current very highly e-mediated reality.  Furthermore, it is a philosophy demanding the individual to think seriously on his impact and how he can contribute a meaningfully lasting and positive difference not just in his particular locus but also concentrically to the outside world.

By calling for a qualitative ontological paradigm shift from the phenomenological-metaphysical dyad to the ICP-UF collaborative interrelationship, IPT is thus responding to what has already happened.  No longer is the individual restricted by time, space, or geography when he has mediated an e-transcendence over such classical limitations.  Moreover, he is no longer excluded from knowledge a priori when he has himself effected and occupied the realm of other.  It is a matter of acknowledgment as such.

The SWF Answered:

What is the nature of humility?

To be wise is to be humble. Humility posits the individual front and center with wisdom. Indeed, knowledge and experience advises the critical necessity for humility.

It opens channels of communication where previously none existed.

It breaks down barriers mightier than any technological or mechanical invention.

It reunites man to his humanity.

It reinforces man’s commonality above and beyond all politics, economics, and societies: the human condition.

What is the benefit of humility?

Posited with wisdom, humility mediates the individual’s direct access to the state of other. It is another avenue towards ultimate freedom, independent of the creative realization path. And here, we have another instance of IPT around us.

More to the point, it is another instance in proof of the omnipresent opportunities to substantiate IPT as a way of life beyond philosophical idealism. It is true working praxis proved in everyday action and multiple times a day.

And as practice makes perfect, humility mediates the sublime in ultimate freedom.

TE Revisited

The Before Christ (BC) – Anno Domini (AD) or Before the Christian Era (BCE) – Christian Era (CE) designations reflect the tremendous impact religion has on human civilization. Indeed, no other phenomenon has had a more profound influence. (Case in point: religious wars of our past and present.) However, as much as religion affects us all (including and especially agnostics and atheists) there is a phenomenon with equal – if not more – impact and on an equally omnipresent scale: technology.

At an exponentially lightning speed and equally striking impact, technology has revolutionized modern civilization. Overcoming time, space, and geography, technology mediates our currently globalized reality. Truly, modernity is a transcendent, e-globalized reality.

For this reason, technology is modernity’s clarion call of change:

It mediates e-geography qua globalization.

It enables transcendence over classical limitations of time, space, and geography.

It leverages innovation gratia invention.

It revolutionizes reality.

It challenges the possible.

It proliferates all realms of potentiality.

It materializes imagination.

Post haste, we must at least acknowledge this new dawning era:

The Transcendent Era

From my previous post, “The Transcendent Era” (20 June 2014):

Adding to Wark’s concept of a ‘third nature‘, IPT suggests the dawn of a new era: The Transcendent Era.  The main argument being that man has overcome – transcended – classical limitations of time, space, and geography and is doing so as a regular part of his quotidian.  And this is all mediated through the (portable) electronic technologies of his own invention.

The ‘media-made world‘ and the ‘telesthesia‘ that is ‘woven out of telegraph, telephone, television, telecommunications‘ that Wark describes is to IPT the ocular and omnipresent realization of man’s creative potentiality qua electronic technology.  Today, the potentiality is exponentially more formidable taking on a myriad forms never before imagined possible.  And that is the wonder of it all: man’s creative imagination is forever realizing and producing tangible, ocular attestations of a powerful and almost-miraculous level of energy beyond what the quantum world has even begun to calculate.

The Transcendent Era is not coming; it has already arrived and in full force.  Indeed, it arrived circa 2000, as soon as man mediated his own effective agency to change his reality at the singular level.  Now, more than ever, we can jettison – and even scoff at – the obsolete notion that one person is ineffective to make a difference.  Rather, he is making a difference, impacting his world at the micro and in turn, macro level.  And he does it multiple times each day…

The SWF examined:

Ushered in by this revolutionary new era, the advent of existing cultures surviving through the BC, AD and now TE times must give us pause. In particular, AD cultures should take note. Co-existence of BC-AD-TE cultures with AD-TE cultures on an e-global platform forces the CEV (comprehensively educated viewpoint) to an imperative degree. Along with the CEV comes the necessary establishment of understanding and respect for socio-cultural and historical differences.

More to the point:

In order for the current civilization to survive, adapt, and flourish successfully, we must learn from each other with an eye towards respectful, peaceful, and harmonious co-existence. There is far too much to be learned in and through our differences than to waste away the fortunate happenstance qua globalization. And through this education, we can truly acquire an effectively 360-degree CEV. Only through this qualified CEV do we stand a chance of flourishing successfully.

Such is the responsibility handed down from our past.

It is the obligation to our future.

It is the right of present passage and survival.

Welcome to the TE paradigm.
